At just 22, he was promoted to Sous Chef at Harvest on Huron which received 4 stars from the Chicago Tribune. His sense of adventure took him to Alaska and the Hotel Captain Cook, where he became the banquet chef. He quickly moved up the ranks to Chef de Cuisine of the Crow’s Nest, one of three Alaskan 4 diamond restaurants, and then Executive Chef overseeing four restaurants, banquets and a staff of 80. For now he has hung up his chef whites and works as the Director of Food and Beverage for the Carlson Center at the end of the road in Fairbanks, Alaska.
